Mac Forums user jimpo has posted photos of what he claims is a 16GB iPhone running software v1.1.2. The authenticity of these pictures have not been confirmed. If the photos are legitimate, 16GB iPhones running the new software will likely be hitting store shelves as soon as tomorrow. The move, although unexpectedly delayed, should make iPhones even more competitive this holiday season. A software update will also be expected soon. Photos after the jump!
Update: As some of our readers have pointed out, the photos are likely faked. While Apple is almost undoubtedly planning to release a 16GB version of the iPhone, we remain skeptical that these images are proof.
