In this new video for God of War: Chains of Olympus, the guys down at Ready at Dawn Studios talk about the challenges they experienced and the goals they set for themselves in making the game. They talk about the Daxter engine and the constant developments the game experiences to push the PSP to the limits.

The constant changes they had to make explains the delay of the game, but judging by what they've shown so far, it's well worth the wait. Watch the video and check out the scene where a whole fleet of ships engage in fiery battle beside a city where Kratos uses a ballista to take one of them down.

We're also treated to some gameplay footage and more of the magical fire spirit Ifrit. By the end we're also shown the God of War PSP made by Ramon Stokes, who got to play the demo after hand delivering the unit to the studio. Again we hear the sounds of trumpets and gongs as the March 4 release date is solid and on track.
